While exploring the National Park sites in Idaho, Tom and I stayed at the centrally located Twin Falls / Jerome KOA.  The Twin Falls KOA was really nice because it was far enough off I-84 that we didn’t have to deal with a lot of noise.  It was also close enough that we only had to drive an few minutes to get on the freeway.  Jerome is to the west of the KOA and Twin Falls is on the other side of the interstate.

Twin Falls KOA is a small KOA open from March 1 through October 31.  We left October 30 and they already had part of the park shut down.  There weren’t many guests during during our stay and they “upgraded” us to a premium site with our own fenced-in patio and fire pit.

During the season (I’m assuming Memorial Day through Labor Day) the campground has mini-golf and pedal boats.  The pedal boat pond was drained, so we could understand not renting the pedal boats while we were there.  But the pond looked small and reed-filled.  They also have a KOA Cafe restaurant with a nice playground and pool.  The store was having an “end of the year” sale while we were there but we resisted buying anything.

I did the laundry the first evening we were at the KOA and the machines were clean and reasonably priced.  Tom and I also enjoyed walking around the KOA in the evenings.  The staff are friendly and helpful.  Of course, we have to say that after our free upgrade.

The Twin Falls KOA was a quiet and comfortable place to stay.  We appreciated the proximity to Twin Falls and to all the National Park sites in the area.  After our explorations each day, we were glad to come home to our RV and the quiet campground.
