Christmas Card For My Blog Readers

This year I did not send out Christmas cards to the people who read my blog regularly.  It’s not that I don’t love you – I do – and I am so very grateful that you take time to read my blog.  I did not send you a Christmas card because you already know everything that is going on in my life!  What else can I tell you?  But it seemed wrong not to acknowledge you in any way, so this post is a Christmas Card for my blog readers.

Here is the pretty picture on the front:

Here is the family picture on the inside (John and Jackie’s hearth):

Here is the stock (but heartfelt) message on the inside of the card:

May the hope of that first Christmas, the joy of God’s abundant blessings, and the peace of Jesus’ presence be with you now and always.  May the love of God spread from your life to others and be abundantly returned to you.

And here is the hand-written, personal message:

Thank you for making me feel like I am important in your life.  Thank you for taking the time to read about our adventures and to comment through the blog or through e-mails.  Thank you for taking time out of your incredibly busy life to keep up with us.  You are a friend of great worth.  Make sure that you let me know what is going on with your life so I can laugh, celebrate, cry, and pray with you.  Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

So that is my Christmas Card for my blog readers.  Thanks for reading and let me hear from you!

Thank you Kathy. I am keeping you and Chae and Andrew in my prayers. I know this will be a very hard Christmas for you. I hope you find joy in the small moments and comfort in the memories. May being together bring you peace.

I didn’t send cards, either. I am in Pittsburgh for a month with my daughter who had a second baby ten days ago. Such fun! So that’s my news for the year. Wishing you and Tom peace and joy for Christmas and New Year’s.

Congratulations to your daughter and her husband! I’ve heard grandchildren are a wonderful thing! We will miss your usual beautiful picture, but enjoy your time together.

I am so grateful for the joy and peace that your blog exudes! Thank you for sharing your heart, funny stories and adventures. I absolutely love your writing talent. Krissa and I just chaperoned a lock-in and, of course, a great deal of the discussion was focused on greatly missing you – so, I’m very appreciative that you take the time to blog, it truly reduces my sadness of your absence. I hope that you and Tom have safe, joyful and healthy 2017! May God Bless You!

Thank you. Your sweetness adds joy to my life! You and the family should come visit us at St. Simons Island over spring break! Loved the pictures on your Christmas card.

O-key-doe-key… if ya didn’t mean it then you shouldn’t offer, lol 🙂 The girls and I will be driving right past you this Tuesday around dinnertime-ish. Would you and Tom be available for a quick visit (maybe grab some ice cream, stretch our legs and catch up for a short bit before having to get on the road to finish our travel to FL)? You can text me at 330-472-4799 to let me know. And then I can fill you in on a few more details. If you are not available, then we totally understand… just didn’t want to drive right by ya without trying to see you!
