I mentioned a couple of months ago that I was picking up trash along the road as one of my duties here at Fort Frederica. I continue to go out once a week with my white bucket and my reflective vest to pick up trash. Most weeks I fill the bucket a couple of times. A couple of weeks we were so busy that I didn’t get out. The next week I filled up four buckets!
I saw some interesting things while I was picking up trash. I decided to make my trash pick-up a first-ever contest for my blog readers. Are you ready to play, “What’s In My Bucket?”
The rules are simple. There are 23 pictures of things that I picked up or saw while collecting trash. Most pictures have lots of objects in them. How many can you spot? Send me a list of how many you recognize – the more details the better – and I will give the winner a $25 iTunes gift card. You can send the list to my email (hartleyfam@aol.com). Don’t post it in the comments – you don’t want other people copying you! The person who gets the most objects correct will be the winner. I am the sole judge and the final authority on the answers. After all, I picked up all the trash!
I will accept object lists through April 30, and I will announce the winner shortly after. Then I will mail the iTunes card. Usually my pictures scroll automatically but you will have to advance these yourself. I figured you will be scrutinizing them closely. You might want to look at the pictures on something bigger than a phone.
Have fun (please don’t take this too seriously) and share the blog link with some friends who could use a little extra for iTunes. I know some of you are super-competitive, but this is supposed to be fun and relaxing. Right. Oh, and one last bonus question: what did I pick up the most?
Now – let’s play, “What’s In My Bucket?”
